As the election results came in in November 2016 I was initially in shock. How could my country support such a racist hateful man? about 1 am as I turned off the TV and headed to bed. I did not sleep as tears and fear kept me awake for about 3 days. Then exhaustion set in and I had some sleep.
Now in 2022 we have the leaked draft of the Supreme Court ruling about to overturn Roe V Wade. Never did I think I would see our country turn back time like this.
I borrowed this meme to show how I feel. get involved and help us fix this country. Reproductive rights are crucial in our world.

We must stand up and VOTE to support our sisters & brothers. The massacre in Buffalo, NY is horrific. Buffalo together. The hate fueled white supremacy was encouraged by the 45. We need to talk to our friends & families and be sure they register and vote out those who do not want to bring our country together. Search the below terms

DC March 2017
A women's group,I am part of , announced they were headed to Washington DC for The Womens March protest. this was about two weeks after the election. I was glad to be able to stand up for what I believe in and signed up. It was an incredible event 1-21-17 2017. Here are a few of the 120 women I traveled to DC with as part of the largest peaceful protest.
We knew the term of the misogynist, 45, would be horrible. We hoped it wold not extend past his term, it has. Stand up and take action to bring us back together.
One memory from this March is the love and community of the families at the event. Whatever you needed, they were ready to hand to you.
